Introducing

For the third iteration of Kenny Anderson’s signature Converse shoe, 1993 built a Western European launch concept, which brought Los Angeles to Berlin. Announced during Bright Tradeshow a former Eastern German bunker was transformed into an LA inspired skate friendly location by Yamato Living Ramps.

Re-building iconic skate spots in concrete, which Kenny himself skated heavily throughout his career and using the real-world backdrop, which was shot in Los Angeles and blown-up in Berlin. It gave a narrative personal to Kenny Anderson and extended the Converse KA 3 product story.

The product demonstration was attended by invited skate channels from around Europe with Kenny Anderson and members of the Converse team in attendance. This provided unique media assets and excitement given the level of execution. In an adjacent room, a detailed product story was built showcasing the features of the KA 3.
